The Arrow Fund has been relaunched, on 2 July 2010, to focus on the growth of Chinese consumption. The investment philosophy employed is the same used in our other funds.
With rising wages and incomes and continued rural to urban migration, we are seeing a broad-based change in consumer behaviour and habits in China. We are especially targeting home grown consumer brands with strong presence in second and third tier cities. The Central Government is also actively broadening its social safety net in order to encourage greater consumption as a driver of GDP growth.
